St Blazey, Par & Tywardreath Commemorate 1914
Sunday 3rd August 2014 from 3 pm Service to Commemorate the Outbreak of the First World War near Par Running Track. If wet in Tywardreath Parish Church. The Hymns and Music will be played by St Newlyn East Band
Monday 4th August 2014 There will be short service in St Andrews Church at 11 am on August 4th following the laying of a wreath on the War memorial. A candle will be lit as each name is read. Anyone with a family connection will be asked to light a candle . The church will remain open until 6.30 pm. The service of Evening Prayer will take place at 4.30 pm. You are asked to stand inside the churchyard when the wreath is laid, for your personal safety.
