Today's Women's Institute is not just about jam and Jerusalem! The WI is Britain's largest women's organisation and we are fortunate to have a branch in Tywardreath. The WI has a strong local and national network. Tywardreath WI is part of the Gribbin group, joining with Fowey, Polkerris and Cuddra WIs for group meetings and other activities. County events are organised by Cornwall Federation of WIs across a broad spectrum. The WI's web-site www.womens-institute.co.uk will give you the full resolutions and related information, as well as many other facts, links and history of the WI (you can even find out just why we sing Jerusalem!).

Each month we spend a short time on business matters and discussions on forthcoming events and activities. As well as the wide variety of county activities, we organise outings ourselves.
We meet monthly (with the exception of August) on the second Tuesday at 7.00pm in St Andrew's Hall and visitors and new members are always welcome. For just £1 you can come along and see what it is all about!
